Arrival to Saalbach by car or motorbike

On the highway Westautobahn (A1) in the direction of Salzburg, at the exit Wals-Lofer cross the border to Germany, via Bad Reichenhall to the border of Steinpass, in Lofer continue in direction to Zell am See, then via Maishofen to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
An alternative is the journey from Salzburg on the highway Tauernautobahn (A10) in the direction of Villach. At the crossing of Bischofshofen, leave the highway and continue in the direction of Zell am See on the Pinzgauer A-Road (B311), you reach Saalbach Hinterglemm via Maishofen.
Arriving from Germany and the Benelux:
Without having to buy the Austrian Highway- toll Vignette you can take the highway A8 from Munich in the direction of Salzburg up to the exit Siegsdorf. There you continue in the direction of Inzell, then towards Lofer crossing the border to Austria, via Saalfelden in the direction of Zell am See up to Maishofen and from there in the Glemmtal valley to Saalbach.
Arriving from Italy, Slovenia and Croatia via Villach:
Take the highway Tauernautobahn in the direction of Salzburg, take the exit Bischofshofen and continue towards Zell am See, in Maishofen turn to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Arriving from Italy via Brenner:
On the Brenner highway (A13) in the direction of Innsbruck, at the exit St. Johann take the Pinzgauer A-Road (B311) towards Zell am See, you reach Saalbach Hinterglemm via Maishofen.
