Our insider tips in autumn:
Quilting on the mountain - The highest tree-top trail in Europe is situated at the end of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm valley. It is a unique project, combining the trail with an Alpine “Golden Gate” suspension bridge.
This natural circular tour starts at the parking area at the end of the valley and runs for a length of 2 kms over meadows, mountain fields and through the forest. The one kilometre tree-top trail starts at the Lindlingalm and includes the 200 metre long “Alpine Golden Gate Bridge”. In the summer it is possible to use the small valley train to get there and back (around 4 trains in total).
