If you find traditional sauna too hot, you’ll love the infrared cabin.

The SONNENOASE is the spa area for the WHOLE family. Parents and children can combine action and relaxation in the infrared cabin, whirlpool and indoor pool. Let the soothing warmth of the infrared cabin flow through your body. Relax in the whirlpool and indoor pool after an active day in the region around Saalbach Hinterglemm. Indoor swimming pool
The indoor pool (9 x 4 metres) is popular with young and old in summer and winter. Bathing or swimming in the pleasantly temperate water will relieve all your tension. Loungers are of course available in the pool area.

What age restrictions apply in the wellness and spa area?
At the 4-star superior wellness hotel DIE SONNE in Saalbach Hinterglemm, there are two separate wellness areas. The SONNENOASE, with infrared islands, indoor pool and outdoor family whirlpool, is designed to be family-friendly and is also accessible to children. The SONNENHAUS is an adults-only area for guests aged 15 and over, reserved exclusively for those seeking peace and relaxation. This ensures that the needs of families and guests looking for tranquillity are equally taken into account, allowing everyone to find their own personal retreat.
Are there special spa times for families?
No, there are no fixed family times at the all-inclusive Hotel DIE SONNE, as the SONNENOASE provides a dedicated family-friendly wellness area. Children and parents can therefore relax together at any time, while the separate SONNENHAUS remains reserved exclusively for adults. As a special bonus, a family sauna is offered twice a week from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Which treatments can be booked?
At the SONNE SPA, you can look forward to a wide selection of treatments, ranging from soothing massages to luxurious pampering rituals for adults and children alike. High-quality natural products enhance the exclusive experience and turn every treatment into a unique moment of wellbeing.
Which sauna and treatment rules should be observed?
- Please arrive a few minutes before your treatment wearing your bathrobe. In the event of late arrival, the treatment time may be shortened.
- During treatments, your privacy will always be respected. Disposable briefs are also available on request.
- Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. After this period, 50% of the treatment price will be charged.
- In the event of a no-show, the full treatment price will be charged.
- To protect everyone’s health, please inform the team in good time of any existing complaints or medical conditions.
- To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, guests are kindly asked to keep noise to a minimum in the relaxation areas.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the spa area.
- The SONNENHAUS is a textile-free relaxation area. Saunas may only be used with a towel placed underneath the body.
- Children under the age of 15 are not permitted to enter the SONNENHAUS.
